Your one-time donation will allow me to record my second album in Barcelona!
I am a 26-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist from a small town in Minnesota. My dream is to record an album with artists in Barcelona, Spain. I speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and since I was a kid, my biggest goal has been to collaborate with artists in other countries. I released my debut album in November, 2020 in the middle of the pandemic and was featured on the Twin Cities Jazz station.
2020-2021 were really hard years... I lost people close to my heart and struggled to keep the vision alive, unsure if live music would ever come back. What got me through was imagining what it would be like to record my second album in Spain. With your help, this dream can become a reality.
My music is influenced equally by the Jazz Age and Woodstock, and I draw from both jazz and folk traditions when writing new songs.
While it's unnerving to put this message out on the internet, I think everyone can identify with what it's like to have a true dream. Your gift will allow me to pursue this lifelong goal. Even $1 makes a difference.
